This natural white cheese starts as curds, which are soaked in a nitro rye stout made by 3 Sheeps Brewing Company, pressed, bandage wrapped, and aged. The rye stout adds a nice milky sweetness and subtle smokey flavor to this Wisconsin Cheddar. The beer is pressed into the cheese, giving it a beautiful marbled appearance. This Wisconsin original is not only visually exciting with a wonderful depth of flavor and textures, but also truly authentic Wisconsin-made, from the cheese itself to the beer it is soaked in!

Good for a change

The appearance of the cheese was a bit freaky to me and I am more of a light beer person but my husband is the stout beer drinker so I bought this for him and i gave it a try. I was suprised by the taste of the stout was not overpowering but more of a bit of an aftertaste. We munched on ours with crackers and sitting on the front porch watching a thunderstorm roll through. The cheese was good for a change but my favorite still remains Wisconsin 5 year old.
