Wisconsin Three-Cheese Pizza

Forget delivery! The secret to a pizzeria-quality pie at home is simple: start with the highest-quality cheese. Our recipe uses a powerful trio of authentic Wisconsin cheeses to create a pizza with the perfect gooey stretch, rich flavor, and a satisfyingly salty finish.

Here's a breakdown of our winning combination:

  • Mozzarella gives you that classic, perfect cheese pull.
  • Provolone adds a rich, savory depth that elevates your pizza from good to unforgettable.
  • Parmesan provides a sharp, salty finish that ties all the flavors together.

With this simple yet powerful blend, you're ready to bake a pizza so good, you'll never go back to takeout.

Ingredients

  • 1 pizza dough (store bought or homemade)
  • 1/2 cup tomato sauce
  • 4oz Mozzarella, shredded
  • 2oz Provolone, shredded
  • 2oz Parmesan, finely grated
  • 1 Tbps olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano
  • Optional: fresh basil leaves for garnish

Instructions

 1. Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C). If you have a pizza stone, place it in the oven now to heat up.
2. On a lightly floured surface, stretch or roll your pizza dough into a 12-inch circle. Carefully transfer the dough to a parchment-lined baking sheet or a pizza peel.
3. Using the back of a spoon, spread the tomato sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a 1/2-inch border for the crust. In a bowl, toss the shredded Mozzarella and Provolone together. This ensures an even distribution of flavor. Sprinkle the mixed Mozzarella and Provolone evenly over the sauce. Sprinkle the finely grated Parmesan over the top. Drizzle the entire pizza with a tablespoon of olive oil and sprinkle with dried oregano.
4. Slide the pizza into the preheated oven. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly, melted, and slightly browned in spots.
5. Carefully remove the pizza from the oven. Let it rest for a minute or two. Garnish with fresh basil leaves if desired. Slice and serve immediately.
