Brie is a soft cow’s-milk cheese named after the French region of the same name. There are many types of Brie cheese available, varying in milk type, butterfat content, and aging. Schroeder Käse's Triple Crème Brie is a soft ripened, un-pressed cheese made from cow’s milk. The cheese has a snowy white rind flora which develops after the cheese is sprayed with penicillium candidum. The paste of the cheese is rich, with a glossy, straw colored appearance. The flavor of this triple cream Brie is buttery with a full flavor that is fruity with a mild tanginess and mushroomy notes. This brie is rich and decadent. It’s high butterfat content lends this Brie it's creamy and buttery melt-in-your-mouth texture and flavor, with the cheese’s plump and smooth paste.
