The flavor of this normally mild, semi soft Colby Jack cheese is punched up to 1000 with the addition of ghost peppers. Once the hottest pepper in the world, this 1,000,000 Scoville Unit ghost pepper will knock your socks off. The mellow Colby jack cheese is a nice vehicle for this pepper to truly shine.
Colby Jack is a combination of two cheeses: Colby and Monterey Jack. Both were named after the towns in which they were invented. They are also among only 5 cheeses to be invented right here in the United States. Colby Jack is made by combining Colby and Monterey Jack with one another during the cheese making process.
