This is the traditional German-style “hunter” sausage. Landjaeger is carefully crafted using very coarsely ground pork and beef. Seasoned with garlic, spices and caraway seeds to give these semi-dried links a hearty, authentic flavor. These delicious sausages are smoked over hardwood slabs in old-fashioned brick smokehouses for days to bring out essential flavors, then the Landjaeger is left hanging for days to finish the old world process.
